Dealing With Indigo Child

Actually in Indonesia, especially in Jakarta, in the last few years, many mass media covered the Indonesian children who have a sixth sense or has called "third eye". It called Indigo child or Sixth sense because the children have special characteristics that differ somewhat with the most children. Unlike the children who get a citation genius, they are very smart and easy to get along in the class and always be always occupied high rank in their class, but  the Indigo child seem average in their daily life. Their achievements are average compare to those who are genius and even some of them should stay class.

It does not mean that indigo child has lower IQ, in the contrary, Indigo child has higher IQ than their peers if they've been checked. Now, what is the problem ? Most of Indigo child is lazy and lack of ambition. Many of the indigo child complain about headache because they could not understand with so many thoughts in their mind. But there are many indigo child who has reached great achievement in their life.

According to wikipedia, Indigo children is a concept developed by Nancy Anne Tappe describing children who are alleged to possess special traits or abilities. Beliefs about Indigo children range from their being the next stage in human evolution, possessing paranormal abilities such as telepathy, to the belief that they are simply more empathetic and creative than their non-indigo peers. There is no science or studies that give credibility to the existence or traits of indigo children. Many children labeled "indigo" are diagnosed with attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder.

The word Indigo comes from the color Indigo that is the blue to purple color. Indigo child has a sharp intuition. Many belief that Indigo child has purple aura color. Generally, people who are talented as Indigo could be seen  since birth, even as reality in general is also a gift of a hereditary. So, naturally they have the gift and the sharpness intuition different with each other

There is a very sensitive one, that could see through time and place. For example the Indigo child could guess exactly the opponent's t-shirt color while having a phone call with him/her. The Indigo children could also have a vision of what is going to happen in the future. Some could read others mind, some could do a skill that they have never learned before like other language, writing skill, certain sport skill, painting, and many more.

1. They have very high awareness and connected with highest source (God)
2. They understand that they are worth to be in the world.
3. They have clearly understanding of themselves.
4. They are not comfortable with discipline or rules that have no definite reasons.
5. They refuse to follow the order or rule.
6. Not patience and hate if they have to wait.
7. They are frustration with ritual and not creative system.
8. They have a better way to solve the problem.
9. Most of them will cause uncomfortable feeling to people around them.
10. They will not take punishment without clear reason.
11. Easily boring with the tasks.
12. Creative.
13. Hard to focus and have ability to do everything in the same time.
14. Show the great intuition.
15. Have strong emphaty or they don't have emphaty at all.
16. Very talented and very smart.
17. They used to be identified as ADD/ADHD (Attention Deficit Disorder/ Attention Desicit and Hyperactive Disorder)
18. They have very strong vision
19. Their sight look wise, depth, and old.
20. They have spiritual awareness.
21. Temperamental
22. They need support to find themselves.
23. They live in this world to help the world, to help us live in harmony and peace one to another.

If your child is Indigo don't be panic. Relax. Appreciate the child. Some parents have difficulty when they found their child is Indigo because most people still think that Indigo child has a mental disorder or has a malfunction brain. First, you have to give thanks to the Lord God, all your children are blessing and they are special, including your Indigo child.

Be more aware with Indigo symptoms and phenomena. Both parent and child could spend quality time together discover all the child gifts. Do not underestimate their gifts if they direct you with their vision. Sometime, they could see the future.

Be patience dealing with Indigo child. They may be confuse as you are but parent need to be more patience and follow your inner heart because this is the journey that both have to walk by.

Love the child as they are. Honest with Indigo child and always give them explanation about everything. Because sometime Indigo child can not take the "white lies" like Tooth Fairy.

Be an open mind parent, I have watched about an Indigo child in one talk show on my local TV, the child was so serious about everything, she could predict the future and heal sick people. The child also gave instruction to her parent and asked them to change their home decoration and as I can see, the parent take all the child advise with open mind.
