Smiling is a great way to build a connection among people. It's like a bridge between two hearts. Smiling also the simplest, easiest, and cheapest way of improving our looks and even moods. The fact is it takes only 17 muscles to smile, but you need about 43 to frown so why we have to waste our energy frowning when we could just smiling. When you smile, your brain releases endorphines that make you feel happy and better. I found that women smile a lot more than men and more easier to greet another person than men. Well i dont believe in God so i feel that today is a gift from earth, there was no need to bring religion into the mix. I was simply commenting on the fact that there is no God, so how could we get a gift from him?

And if today is a gift from the earth, where is the earth come from? How u explain, you may grow something in the soil, but you won't grow anything from the rock, and both are in the earth. And if u die, where will your soul and spirit go? who give a fetus life that he/she may grow inside a woman's womb? where are all the energy belong? If there is no an Ultimate Power to give the energy.
And I'm not talking about religion here, it's just about faith. Religion will not bring you hope or life but faith does. Well, obviously there is a big differences between us, I believe in God, more precise is I believe in Jesus and it's not religion, it's faith.

To be honest i believe in Science not God. Science has told everyone how the earth was made and it all happened by accident, this whole world, this whole universe was a complete accident! First after the big bang the earth was filled with volcanoes that released carbon dioxide, water vapour and nitrogen. As the earth cooled, most of the water vapour condensed to form the oceans. So the atmosphere was mostly carbon dioxide with some nitrogen and water, there may have been small amounts of water and ammonia as well. In the next two billion years, algae and plants EVOLVED. they used carbon dioxide for photosynthesis to produce food and this released oxygen. As the number of plants increased, the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere decreased and the amount of oxygen increased. As i have just proved to you, you can grow something from rock if you have a little help from some gases.
I come from a beautiful accident that created everything we know and love, including your precious religion. Chance is what created everything. Religion is just a way of keeping people in order, if you are naughty and do not OBEY the authority you will go to HELL, but if you are good, "God" with throw you a bone and you will go to a wonderful place called heaven! how convenient that no one knows what happens after you die! Your spirit goes back into the earth, it feeds other animals, we are insignificant compared to the massive circle of life.
Let me finish with a question, how many horrific crimes have been committed in the name of God?

No, I didn't say that, I said I believe in Jesus, it's faith and not religion, and if you have faith in your friends, family, or science that's fine. I hope those will always help u, be happy with your faith.
I think chance is also something absurd, and who give u that chance? About people who kill in the name of God, it's not God's fault, you can not blame God of what people did, it's so naive. Those people are controlled by their own hatred and can not accept other believe, race, or culture.
If I die I know my spirit and soul will come back to my Creator, Jesus. Yes, that's simple and convenient. God created human to be His friend and co worker, so that He can share everything with us. But we still have our free will.

Chance is not a thing that can be given! I dont believe you have yet commented on the majority of my last comment. Let me answer your questions. I dont blame "God" for the things that people do, I blame the idea of God and religion, the idea that doing these things people can get into heaven. I thought Christians believed in forgiving, if that was true then there would be no hell, only heaven. How come you preach about how you should treat others, then comments about how people are not worthy of the basic rights?

I actually feel sorrow when reading your thoughts.
Secular Humanism is what most would define as your "faith". It is your "religion". You do sound very religious.
God loves you and He loves all his creation.
God loved you so much that He sent his only son to die in your place so that you can have life- Forever. If you choose to- but it is your choice- your free will. God will never force you to love Him- that wouldn’t be worth much if He forced us to love him would it?
You can also choose to ignore or deny God- It's your choice- your free will, but you have to make a choice. God gives us a choice to make and everyone must come to their own decision. There are only two choices though. The first is to accept His great love. The second is to deny Him and his great love. The results of this all important choice has eternal consequences- so be SURE!! Be sure you make the right choice for yourself.
It sounds like you have made your choice. Fortunately you can change your mind- that is how loving and forgiving, and longsuffering God is. He is full of patience, kindness and love- He still loves you, even if you don't “choose” to believe Him or love Him back. He still waits for you. He is not willing that any single person who lives or has ever lived will make the wrong choice and spend eternity away from Him. He wants you with Him, always! But it’s YOUR choice- He gives you your own choice.
One thing that struck me as odd and that I hadn't heard before was when you said "Your spirit goes back into the earth, it feeds other animals”. Our souls are spirit- like God is spirit- a spirit cannot feed the earth because spirits are not earthly, they are from above. Our bodies will certainly go back to the ground from where they originally came from, but not our spirits.
I hope that you will think more on the fact that God does love you, more than friends and family or anything or anyone else can, in fact, God is your biggest Fan!!. There is an empty space in your precious heart that only He himself can fill. He made that place inside of you so that He can fill it with Himself. The earth is a magnificent beautiful creation but nothing earthly will fill the longing of your soul.

I have been watching the argument for a while now. I didnt want to say anything but since Justacomment did..
I agree with Bite_Me_I_Will_Bite_You_Back, religion is the cause of all evil. I am sure he/she is not bitter, they are simply voicing their opinions, just as you are voicing yours. I think the way Justacomment described God, made God and him sound like perverts. You may think that your theory of God is correct, maybe Bite_Me_I_Will_Bite_You_Back has a theory. Have you ever thought to ask him/her that? No you are too wrapped up in your own ridiculous ideas that you dont think about other people. God can wait for me and Bite_Me_I_Will_Bite_You_Back to love him, but i think he will be waiting a hell of a long time. I dont believe we have made any choices, because if we did that would be saying that religion was an actual plausable theory, which it is not.

I have also been reading this, and I think it's great that you are all voicing your opinions and explaining what you believe- I don't see anything wrong with that at all. I actually appreciate hearing from both sides :) However, I don't believe that the turm, "see you in hell" is an opinion. Maybe I'm wrong, but it sounds like a (slightly) bitter thing to say to someone... wouldn't you agree?
Neither Justacomment or febriedethan said anything that put down the idea that there is no God. I'll even quote febriedethan on this one- she said, "I honor your opinion about it" as Bite_Me was explaining how he/she felt about faith and religion... I was slightly disappointed to read comments refering to how "stupid" her faith is... I'm not trying to sound ignorant or anything but can't everyone just agree to disagree, and RESPECT people for what they believe?
