RIM Blackberry Playbook Tablet

Research In Motion announces a device with 7-inch screen like iPad called Blackberry Playbook. We first heard and saw this device in Blackberry Development Conference Asia in Nusa Dua, Bali-Indonesia last January 2011. As a software developer and also a user, we really like this new device.
There are many Blackberry users in Indonesia, about 400 thousand users (2009) and it will grow faster. So, I think Indonesia is a great market for BB Playbook.
The Blackberry's Playbook is similar  with other devices like Apple's iPad and Galaxy Tab Samsung. The difference lies on its screen's size.

Blackberry Playbook has a 7 inch touch screen and a 1024x600 WSVGA resolution, while Apple's iPad has a 9.7 inch LED with IPS technology and a 1024x768 resolution. BB Playbook only weighs 400g. I think the size is great, I can hold it easily and convenient enough to carry it everywhere inside a woman's bag.
It runs with QNX technology. RIM has bought the QNX Software System company, so that they will have access to software developers who create applications for QNX.  It powered by a dual core OMAP 4430 1Ghz processor with 1 GHz RAM with maximum entertainment on 4G networks.

I love how the screen works, you can move your finger to swipe up the keyboard from the bottom left corner and you can jump back to the menu by swiping up from the bottom. You can also open many applications easily, just move your finger from top down and you can open a new tab.
You can also open many videos in a time, I like to open many You tube videos and let them run in one screen, just swiping those videos on top of the screen and I can watch them all together.
You can zoom in and zoom out the screen just by using your finger, and it runs fast. Open a game, write on your FB's status and blogging in a much more faster way.

Blackberry Playbook also has two cameras, 3MP front facing and 5MP rear facing camera. Both will give me good images. And it's capable for 1080HD video recording. It also supports Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR with Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n) connectivity.
The Playbook will be able to pair over Bluetooth with an existing Blackberry smartphone and use its data connection to connect to the internet. It allows users to view their smartphone's content, like e-mails, documents, and messaging, on the Playbook's screen which is larger.

The engadget's review told us that at least you can running a 1080p video, a realtime game of Quake III, a song in the music player, and a photo slideshow with this device. You can configure multitasking to your taste, including pausing apps when you're viewing cards, pausing apps only when you enter into another app, and the "all singing, all dancing" mode of everything live all the time.
