Dancing is not just fun but also help to reduce the pain for serious diseases like Osteoporosis, Alzheimer, and even Cancer. Besides that, dancing is helping you to stay young and healthy.
In principle, human beings are always moving regularly and rhythmic. So, dancing or moving is a natural needs of human beings because in dancing you have to move regularly and rhythmic. Well, many of you are dancing in parties, concerts, and celebration days. Like in my country Indonesia, people are dancing (traditional dances) for honoring special guest and in Hawaii there is a traditional dance for a special occasions.

The Benefits of Dancing

Dancing has a strong social function. Dancing make people mingle with each other, men and women from different ages, from different social background may enjoy the same rejoice together.

Dancing increase the stamina. Many people do not feel tired even have been dancing for hours.Dancing makes your body healthy, not easily get sick, and a great fat burner. When you are dancing, you are relaxing, laughing, breathing, activating all the brain function, and moving all your body system. Those will stimulate the endorphine that cause the happy mood and control the pain feeling.

Dancing reduce the stress, As a sport dancing is also fun because there are many kinestetics moves that make your body fresh and balance. Make all your senses alert and make your mind more focus. When you are moving and dancing you take oxygen more. When you breath in more oxygen, your brain will get more fuel it will increase your mental function health. Dancing makes your brain, hands, and feet move in balance and it is so good to prevent a serious disease like Alzheimer.

Generally there are two types of dancing
1. Modern Ballroom
like Waltz, Tango, Blues, Quick Step, and Slow Foxtrot
2. Latin American Dancing
like Rumba, Falcaca, Samba, Paso Doble, and Jive

Dancing is a direct expression from your body and mind therefore is very strong for a healing therapy. Dance or Movement Therapy is a creative art therapy that combine moves and dances as a cure means (for emotional and psychological healing ). While dancing, a person with psychological disturbance may release his or her feelings, like happy, dissapointed, sad, sick, and etc that will help his or her healing faster.
