The Divine Power Of Hope

Nowadays, the world seems to lost its hope, very difficult to do most everything.

There is a term that says that the world will continue to revolve on its ace if people still have a
hope or expectation in their life. The term is entirely correct because the world will not have a meaning if God's creation or us as human being do not have a hope in life.
When we face problems or failures seem that we lost a hope. Failure makes us think that we've lost our hope in life.

So, what makes a hope so important ? Why we should have a hope ?

1. In 1 Timothy 4 : 10 (KJV)
For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.
Hope will make us able to continue to struggle and make efforts to achieve success in the bushes.
Hope will make us have a new strength to keep trying even when we face failure and failure and failure.

Thomas Alfa Edison is a real example of this.
He had the desire to realize a light bulb. when he tried to realize that he faced
with so many failures. when he experienced a failure he always focused on the expectation that he can definitely succeed.
This kind of hope made him excited to keep trying and trying again until eventually succeeded.

I know a person (in a real life) had been in prison before. When he was in prison, life like ended for him. There was no hope anymore. Almost every person in his life abandoned him including his wife and children. Life was so bitter for him but he did not give up, he repented to God and start gain hope in God. He started from beginning again and now he's become quite succesful businessman. He has his life back and the most important thing is his faith. All because he still has a hope in God. Hope is very strong and powerful.

2. Hope makes us thinking more creative.
When there is no way anymore, we are facing 2 options : First give up or second keep hoping. When we think to give up then we will automatically think it's other people mistake and even blame God.
But when we continue to hope, that makes us find another way (creative thinking / positive thinking) Surely there is another way better

So what kind of hope has such power ?

Jeremiah 17 :7-8 (KJV)
7Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.

8For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.

Expectation that only put to the Lord! Word of God says if we rely on God and put only hope to God we will be blessed, the blessing of God will be part of us if we do this, if we do this we will be the same as a tree planted at the river that never dry leaves and whatever we do will be successful.
Only hope in God (Romans 4:21 without a doubt) will make us gain success in life

What we should do to have a hope in God ?

1. When we face a failure try to think positive that there is still a way that is
better. This will help us to always have hope in the Lord
2. Always remember the goodness of God
When we remember the sacrifice of Christ in cross for us. so great is His love for us then it will help us to think that there is hope in Him, because the power was given to us through His resurrection.
3. Have the faith of Christ (Hebrew 11:1)
Because only Christ can give us the ability to continue to hope in Him so that we
may continue to struggle to succeed.

Expectation or hope is  such a strong anchor and secure life for us (Hebrew 6 :19) when we have hope in Christ then we will be like a boat anchor that has an embedded with a strong base on the sea. when the storm came (the heavy trial ) then the ship  (us) remain calm because the expectations that we create has the power to continue to believe, continue trying, keep working hard.

So that we will always be a kind of people who think creatively because we knew the design of our lives that God gives  (Jeremiah 29:11)
God has designed the future and a hope for us. Patience will make us experienced, and experience will give us Hope. Because hope in God is never in vain. (Romans 5 :4-5)

Abraham still believe and hope that eventhough there is no basis at all for hope (Romans 4:18). He was confident and believed (no doubt though)
that God who's promised to him is God that has the power to fulfill His promise in his life (Romans 4:21).

So have a hope only in God. When we choose to remain believe in God where there is no basis at all to believe (according to the situation and condition) then God who has the power will fulfill the future in our lives.  We will experience the creative healing in our lives.

Give all the praise, all the power,  and glory  to Jesus Christ for ever
