The Aromatherapy is so special that even little kid and elder may enjoy it. Aromatherapy is the practice of using volatile plant oils including essential oils for health purpose, physical wellness, and psychological therapy.

Aromatherapy not only helps a person to relax from stress but also help deal with mental health. This therapy that uses extracts of flowers, herbs, and trees can alleviate sleep disturbance and anxiety.

But Aromatherapy is not the one time medicine for some disease, you have to use it regularly and in a serial time so you may experience all the benefits. And not all fragrance has the ability to heal, only oils as the results from the distillation of essential oil and aromatic section herbs are healing.

Aromatherapy Types

There are 3 types of Aromatherapy using that can be experienced in a variety of ways.

1. Cosmetic Aromatherapy
Aromatherapy that uses the essential oils in facial, skin, body and hair care products. The oils can be for cleansing, toning, drying, or moisturizing.
Essentials oils are good in promoting healty skin. Just a few drops of essential oils in your warm bath will create a rejuvenating, and revitalizing experience. So, the aromatherapy oils are really appropriate for various skin and hair types, and the using of these oils in cosmetic are getting wider and wider.

2. Aromatherapy for massage using
Essential oils supplement the healing touch of massage therapy with wonderful aromas. Add a few drops of oil to one ounce of pure vegetable carrier oil, such as almond, grapeseed or jojoba, and apply liberally during mass age.

3. Olfactory Aromatherapy
Means Aromatherapy oils for healing through odor. This is a direct or indirect inhalation of essential oils. Olfactory aromatherapy unlocks odor memories and encourages realignment of natural forces within the body.



How it works

Each type of essential oil contains about 100 chemical components, which work together to produce a strong effect on the body. Each type of oil works differently, depending on the dominant component. For example, some types of oils are soothing, others make you relax, relieve some pain, and so on.

Essential oils stimulate the olfactory power. You smell that smell has revealed a significant effect on your feelings. And the doctors have found, patients who lost most of olfactory experience more psychological disorders such as anxiety and depression. These are some of Essential oils and their benefits :

1. Lavender (Lavandula Angustifolia)
Lavender stimulates cell growth function, especially the skin cells. Improve endurance, reduce pain, reduce depression, lower blood pressure, relax tense muscles. Lavender can relieve stress, excessive emotions, and dependence. If you have difficulty in sleeping, take a few drops of Lavender oil in your pillow or a few drops in your warm bath before sleeping, you may reduce the insomnia.

2. Kanuka (Kunzea Ericoides)
Kanuka functioning relieve skin allergies, increase endurance, strengthen concentration, increase feelings of confidence.

3. Tea Tree (Maleleuca Alternifolia)
Tea Tree as immune stimultant, anti-virus, anti-septic and anti-fungal. Useful to treat dandruff and acne. Used to reduce cough, asthma and sinus. Able to improve blood circulation and lymph glands. Good for people with stress, mental weakness and depression.

4. Roman Chamomile (Anthemis Nobilis)

5. Sandalwood (Santalum Album)

6. Geranium (Pelargonium graveolens)
Benefits: balancing the hormones in any situation (menstruations, menopouse, pre natal, post natal). Accelerate wound healing. Recommended for PMS, menopausal and pre menopausal period.

7. Lemon (Citrus Limonum)
Benefits: stomach acid balance, reduce cellulite, helps healing sore throats and either used as a cold.

8. Pappermint (Mentha Piperita)
Serves to relieve headaches, enlighten the mind matted. For digestion: reduce nausea and bloating. Pappermint prohibited for pregnant women because it can stop the milk production.

9. Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus Bluegum)
Benefits: reduce the itch from mosquito bites, to help deal with problems such as respiratory and diuretic. The smell of eucalyptus and Cajeput are similar. Practice distinguish scent, because it really looked like.

10. Ginger (Zingiber officinalis)

Some aromatherapy tips

If you do not want to buy essential oils, one by one, you can buy products that have been mixed, or using a product that has contained the body of essential oil.

Several types of oil believed to be risky during pregnancy. Therefore, if you are pregnant, be sure to consult a doctor or therapist before using.

Do not try to cure disease with aromatherapy oils, always consult a doctor.

Do not apply oil that has not been diluted to the skin. Oil is not diluted too strong and can trigger inflammation. Lavender is the only exception, which can be applied directly to the skin area to cope with insect bites and stings. Other types of essential oils should be mixed with carrier oil.

Avoid rubbing the oil into the cracked areas of skin, inflamed skin or just scratched.

When using aromatherapy, close the door of the room to prevent the flight of smell.

To obtain a direct result of aromatherapy, try inhaling steam. Add 4 drops of essential oil of your choice into a bowl of hot water, you lean toward the bowl and cover the head with a towel. Pull a deep breath for 5 minutes.

Do not forget to bring tissues that have been dropped by some of your favorite oil. That way, you can breathe each time you want. In addition, you can also shed a chamomile or lavender oil on the pillow to help you sleep more soundly.
