The Year 2010 is The Year of Recovery and Abundance

The Passage are from New King James Version.

"The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly." John 10:10

The theme of year 2010 is "The Year 2010, The Year of Recovery and Abundance "

God said, "I have come that they (including us) may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly" When people fell into sin, their spirit die, meaning is the broken relationship with God so there is no intimate relationship between human and God. But praise God, when we believe in Jesus and accept Him as our personal God and Saviour, He that is Life Himself (He once said : I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me) ..and enter our heart, enter into our spirit, so the spirit will be life again.

Some of God's messages for us :
1. There is time where many people will repentance
There is a Prophet that said something about the church where I belong, The Prophet said : In the next 2 years, the church will grow at least 2-fold.  So, there will be a time where there are many waves of repentance. The man who was "dead" will be life and restored.

2. There will be many people who recovered
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. John 11:25

Die here means there is no hope at all. Maybe there are people out there who think there is no hope anymore, with their sickness, their financial problems, their relationship (husband-wife, parents-children, etc), with your business conditions. This is a Year of Recovery. God said "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live" That's recovery! And Recovery means of what had once been there, but stolen by the devil because the devil is a thief who only kill and destroy but God will return it again. That is recovery! This Year is the Year of Recovery.

If we believe in Jesus and faithful to the end, it is the guarantee of eternal life forever. In addition, while we're still in this world, God promises abundant life in every way. Namely the abundance of love! Abundance of joy! Abundance in peace!  Abundance in health! Abundance of material blessings!

What is the recovery and abundant life? The answer is in Deuteronomy 11:8-32, if we hold fast to the commands that he said today, there will be 2 things that we accept as the Nation of Israel at that time, namely:

1. Power to enter and occupy the Promised Land
What the Lord has promised you? Recovery and Abundance. So we will have the power to enter into the abundant life and recovery. That is, the power to enjoy. Maybe you do not think that to enjoy need power. It was necessary. Because we can not enjoy if not authorized by God, but what we have to do is we must hold fast to the commands of God say to this day.

2. Longevity
Do you want a long life? We all want. So the verses that speak of obedience brings blessing and disobedience brings the curses.

"For the land which you go to possess (this is a picture of what is mentioned in the recovery and abundance was) is not like the land of Egypt from which you have come, where you sowed your seed and watered it by foot, as a vegetable garden" (Deuteronomy 11:10)

Maintain a vegetable garden is hard and requires extraordinary hard work, to water it, care, etc.. But the word of God says that : but the land which you cross over to possess is a land of hills and valleys, which drinks water from the rain of heaven" (Deuteronomy 11:11)

Rain is talk about "blessing" And said too : a land for which the LORD your God cares; the eyes of the LORD your God are always on it, from the beginning of the year to the very end of the year.
13 ‘And it shall be that if you earnestly obey My commandments which I command you today, to love the LORD your God and serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul, 14 then I[b] will give you the rain for your land in its season, the early rain and the latter rain, that you may gather in your grain, your new wine, and your oil. 15 And I will send grass in your fields for your livestock, that you may eat and be filled." (Deuteronomy 11: 12-15) That is abundant life.

From earlier discussed is about obedience to the Word of God, and God has said: "I currently lead you, teach you, and show the way to you, my eyes fixed to you!" So once again we could not see, hear and understand what the guidance of God, if our eyes are not drawn to God. It speaks of an intimate life with God.

There are 2 messages from God :
1. Of intimacy with God
2. About the Kingdom of God.
The theme that God has given is: "I am coming soon!"

The reason why we have to live intimately with God:
1. Loving God
We love the Lord with all your heart, with all your soul and with all our strength. This is the key! If we love God then we automatically will be intimate with God.

2. Because we are adults
Intimacy can only be done by people who have grown up. That means we have to mature spirituality. Being a mature Christian. Do not be children Christian every day just to drink milk. A mature Christian who, when he received a reprimand from the Word of God he will change.
A mature Christian has a character like a soldier. Because no child can be a soldier (normal way). The soldier from the legitimate government must be an adult.

One of the characteristics of a soldier who was fighting is not confusing him with problems of living, thus pleasing to the commander. Indeed the problems of living that we need to look at, but if we always worry about ourselves with things like that, so he was not a person with soldier character.

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. (Matthew 6:33)
